With the brand’s aspiration of seeking adventures outdoors and affection towards utilitarianism, we imagined the retail space as a physical extension of Futuremade’s brand as we crafted the space that exudes warmth and tranquility. Drawing inspiration from Japanese craftmanship, we designed a set of functional furniture that took cues from Japanese traditional wooden house entrance where a raised footplate sits atop a bed of foundation stones allowing the structure to withstand the test of time.

Working closely with the builder Fusty Rabbits, we once again challenged the convention by constructing a long bespoke clothing display without a vertical support structure to achieve a minimal-yet-practical aesthetic that echoes well with the brand’s ethos. Adding a sense of familiarity to the space, the window display was populated by the owner’s personal collections and a handful of curated objects. An upright mirror was also installed adjacent to the caps display as we delivered a customer-centric shopping experience to the patrons.
