WF6, abbreviated from Workplace For 6 is a ‘quickie’ project we recently completed for a close friend’s office. Prior to this, we’ve been toying around the idea of starting a furniture-design line and this project finally did us a great favour in materialising it.

Purely furniture design.
Given the freedom to solely focus on the furniture, we devised a set of functional furnitures aspiring to facilitate smooth movement between spaces. One of the key pieces in this space sits the TV console which effectively draws the boundary between the living area and workspace yet doubles as a storage shelf on the other facet.

Only one material is used.
What alternative can we offer other than the ubiquitous self-assembled furniture in the current market? We asked ourselves during the formative sessions. Challenging convention, we used only one material to weave through the entire assignment. The locally-sourced plywood assembled in a Tongue-and-Groove method essentially highlighted our intention to deliver durable and sustainable pieces in this debut project.
