Tap Tap
Introducing Tap Tap, a contemporary bar that serves cocktail on tap in Sri Hartamas, Mont Kiara. Progressive in nature, their edgy personality is reflected through our latest intervention on their cocktail bar’s design. Upon receiving the brief from the client, we were challenged to design the bar that revolves around a cavernous concept. To instigate a cave-like environment, we treated the original walls with cement plaster to create a raw and stony texture while using reinforced wire mesh to form desired shapes of irregular curves and indentation. A set of bespoke furniture were also customised to match the overall design palette of the groundbreaking space. Instilling innovative features into the space, we cast an artificial ‘night sky’ on the void above the cocktail bar by integrating short-throw projection with ceiling membrane, further elevating the spaciousness of the double-volume unit. Lighting with special water effect were also installed to mimic the surroundings of a real life cave.
