Wafer House — a residential project for a married couple with a discerning taste and an appreciation for craft so profound, that they specifically imported a fresh batch of Birch Plywood all the way from Russia before entrusting us to execute a makeover to their house. To suit the lifestyle needs of a work-from-home letter craftsman as well as parents to two children, we strived for an open layout that allows the small family of four to live in harmony at all times. For instance, we opened up the home office area with a glass panel that acts as a semi-partition, combined with a sliding wooden door that can be interchangeably used when privacy or the children’s attention are required.
